What viewers see

Viewers open live dashboards without edit tools. They navigate with the Navigation type you chose (Left, Top, Tab, Top-left, or Hidden). Restricted pages or charts show an access-denied state instead of data; pages marked Hide in view do not appear in their nav.

Why it matters

Clear unavailable states avoid confusion and prevent leaking details.

How to use

  1. Open the board as a viewer.
  2. Confirm allowed pages (including nested section pages) and tiles load.
  3. Confirm restricted areas show as unavailable.
  4. Ask an editor to adjust access if something looks wrong.
