Connect a connector

Organization owners and admins can connect a source. Pick a connectable database card, enter connection details in the wizard, and test before saving. SQL runners work for PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and Supabase. MongoDB Atlas is Schema / Assist only. Databricks, SQLite, CSV, Excel, and Google Sheets are Coming soon and are not connectable yet.

Why it matters

A verified connection prevents failed refreshes and broken live tiles later.

How to use

  1. Open Data sources → Connect.
  2. Choose a connectable connector card (skip Coming soon).
  3. Enter host and credentials as prompted.
  4. Run Test connection.
  5. Save when the test succeeds.

  1. Data sources → Connect your data → connector catalog.

Success check: The connector appears under Connected sources.

Common mistakes

  • Saving without a successful test.
  • Using a private host without the Connector Agent when required.
  • Expecting a wizard on Coming soon cards (Databricks, SQLite, CSV, Excel, Google Sheets).
